Formed in 2011 and going through various un-named forms of band/ genre the idea behind Iodine sky was born.
Iodine sky came to its conception from singer Azz and guitarist Ben writing together and creating a collection of songs. Whilst this unfortunately didn't come to fruition with other members joining over time, the project took a slight break.
In 2012 another project "Cell4" involving Azz and current drummer Adam brought them both back into the company of guitarist Ben.
After a number of months "Cell4" was disbanded and Azz, Adam and Ben decided to ensure that the material in Cell4 was not wasted. From this Iodine sky was reborn. With the recent addition of bassist Marc Dawson.
In December 2013 Ben was replaced by new and current guitarist Matt Connell.
